忍龍先生 - Ninryu Sensei
HISTORY
- Ware Ninryu Sensei founded Ninryu Bujutsu Dojo in 2019.
- He holds a 4th Dan (4th degree black belt) in Jissen Kobudo as was previously a certified instructor of the Japanese martial arts organization Jissen Kobudo Jinenkan.
- He ran Denmark's only official Jinenkan Dojo, Jinenkan Kan Ryu Dojo, ever to exist from Dec. 2014 to Jan. 2018.
- He trained intensely in the Jinenkan from April 2009 until Jan. 2018, also running a Shibu Dojo under Jinenkan Hiryu Dojo in Örebro, Sweden from 2010 - 2014.
- He left the organization in 2018 on his own will for personal and professional reasons.
- A year later, he established an unknown and independent Dojo, NBD, with the goal to preserve the five schools he had mastered during his time in the Jinenkan, as well as to continue to nurture nature's generous spirit, which is the innermost essence of the martial arts.

A Note on Menkyo and Menkyo Kaiden
- 'Menkyo' means full mastery of a section of a discipline of a Ryu (martial school).
- 'Menkyo Kaiden' means full mastery of an entire discipline of a Ryu.
- In reality, menkyo certificates are given when an instructor has trained all of the techniques within a given discipline under guidance of the Soke (headmaster) of the Ryu.
- That being said, in the Jinenkan, sometimes menkyo was given after meticulous private training with but a couple of instructors present, whilst at other times menkyo was received after seminar training with many participants and not so vast and direct an instruction.
- Menkyo is thus more a formality than an indication of true mastery, as Unsui Sensei once said to me in private: "The certificate is just a piece of paper! True mastery comes only with continued training!"
- With this in mind, one must realize that a person may be a true master of a discipline without a menkyo certificate, and, also, that a person with a menkyo certificate may not necessarily have obtained mastery over the art.
ACQUIRED SKILLS
- These are the martial disciplines taught at NBD.
- Ninryu Sensei acquired other teachings during his time at the Jinenkan, but these have been omitted from the NBD-curriculum.
- Ninryu also practices Qigong, Chen & Yang style Taichi, and various meditation techniques, however, these are not taught at NBD.
